On June 18, 1977, Larry and Brenda Potterfield opened a small retail gun shop, named Ely Arms, Inc. Now known as MidwayUSA and employing nearly 500 people, the company has been serving customers for 37 years.
“A lot has changed over the years…the MidwayUSA campus is quite a lot bigger now and we carry quite a few more products than we did back in ’77—over 100,000 and still counting,” said Larry Potterfield, founder and CEO of MidwayUSA.
In 1977, the company was founded on the Potterfields’ passion for the shooting sports. For more information about MidwayUSA, visit www.midwayusa.com.
