Logboat Brewing Company expands to canned beer
In just a few short weeks, craft beer lovers will be able to grab a six-pack of Logboat Brewing Company’s Mamoot Mild Ale and Snapper IPA off the shelves at Columbia stores, bars and restaurants. Logboat Brewing Company will be expanding into cans within the next month, hoping to have the cans in the market by the week of March 22.
“We’re more than excited about this expansion,” said Tyson Hunt, owner of Logboat Brewing Company. “It has always our goal to be in cans. We chose cans because of the ability to recycle and the convenience factor. The artwork we have is really special, and it’s a good medium to showcase art. Cans are a great vessel for beer, and it just made sense for us and our brand to expand to cans.”
Hunt says he anticipates canning Lookout Pale Ale and Shiphead Ginger Wheat sometime in early summer.
“Now there will be another avenue for packed beer to go out of the brewery and into restaurants,” Hunt says. “It gives a lot more options for people to enjoy our beer who don’t have the time or the means to go sit in restaurant.”
