2017's Top of the Town: Top Chamber Volunteer

Winner:

  • Tom Trabue, McClure Engineering Co.

    • Receiving praise from clients for his ability to “break down and communicate complex engineering and turn it into English,” Trabue has been instrumental in the growth and success of the MEC since it merged with THHinc, the company Trabue co-founded. In addition to the Chamber, Trabue is involved in the Rotary Club of Columbia, the American Consulting Engineers Council, the American Public Works Association, and the Construction Specifications Institute.

Runner-up:

  • Sherry Major, Columbia EDP

    • After seven years at Columbia EDP,  business development specialist Sherry Major’s positivity keeps her successful. Major enjoys meeting new people and brought in 90 new clients to her company this past year, which provides payroll services to all types and sizes of businesses. Major is the current Ambassador chair on the Small Business Committee for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
