Jennifer Perlow and Chris Stevens opened their art gallery at 812 E. Broadway five years ago and learned late last year that the building’s new owner would not be renewing their lease.
The Columbia couple went searching for a new space, while the local arts community wondered whether this would be the end of the popular venue.
But on Feb. 26, PS:Gallery reopened in the Berry Building at the corner of Walnut and Orr streets. To expand the amount of space to display art, a carpenter designed hanging walls that can slide and pivot.
At a patron party four days before the public opening, guests got their first look at the new gallery.
