Boys & Girls Town of Missouri celebrated completing more than a year’s worth of renovations with an open house Wednesday.
The $3.5 million project included the construction of two residential cottages, a dining hall, staff offices, an outdoor recreation pavilion and sidewalks and lighting. The new residences, which doubled the amount of children the campus can house, were finished about a year ago. The pavilion and dining center were completed recently.
Little Dixie Construction was the general contractor. Peckham & Wright was the architect.
Boys & Girls Town, which merged with Edgewood Children’s Center to become Great Circle, provides treatment, education and support services to children with a history of abuse or neglect, behavioral or emotional disorders and children with autism.
