Outstanding offices

RAM Telecom President Blake Moore and his 10 or so employees moved into the company’s new offices at Broadway Bluffs in August. RAM Telecom, a partner with Verizon Wireless with 20 retail locations in Missouri and Illinois, decided to move its headquarters from Mt. Vernon, Ill., to Columbia. Moore said the best part of the building, a Coil Construction Co. project,  is the northern view from the eight-foot windows: Stephens Lake Park, with people sledding, hiking and biking; Hinkson Creek; and, in the distance, Columbia Country Club.    

Moore is also particularly proud of two plaques on the office wall designating RAM Telecom Verizon Agent of the Year in 2004 and 2006.
