Mixing it Up: Adult Slushy

Let’s face it, sometimes life is not as glamorous as Instagram would make it out to be. We are currently in the midst of a remodeling project at home, and things are as busy as ever at work, so I was stressing about which cocktail I should feature and when and where I would be able to take photos. My good friend Sonya reminded me that I was supposed to be having fun with this blog and suggested that I highlight a cocktail that I’m making amidst the chaos of the multiple projects.

I think that keeping it real is an important factor in life, and that no matter what is going on, there’s time for a cocktail. It’s summer time, and many of you have popsicles in the freezer, so there is no reason that you can’t sneak a couple out of the box and make yourself an adult treat!

Adult Slushy

1 ounce DogMaster vodka

1 to 2 popsicles

Club soda

Unwrap popsicles and put them in a glass. Add vodka and soda. Let popsicles melt a bit and enjoy!
