Prince-Chingarande-20-under-20

Prince Tinashe Chingarande, 18, Rock Bridge High School

Favorite class in high school:

English 12 — Senior Composition.

Favorite club or extracurricular in high school:

Show Choir.

Proudest accomplishment in high school:

I was awarded the opportunity to be the president of the International Culture Organization. As the president, I was the communication medium between American and non-American students at Rock Bridge High School.

Future goals:

I aspire to create a charity organization that helps children from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to facilities that help them develop their artistic skills. My organization will mainly focus on vocal music, theatre, and acting.

Person I admire and why:

I admire the Zimbabwean billionaire, Strive Masiwa. What appeals to me is the passion and drive that he has to make sure that the economic turmoil in Zimbabwe does not interfere with primary education. To date, he has donated thousands of dollars’ worth of books and supplies to impoverished schools.

What you do for fun:

I find pleasure in singing, dancing, watching musical productions, reading books, and conversing with friends and family.
