April 19, 2016

Last night, the city announced the 2016 winners of the Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement Award, honoring six local businesses or organizations promoting and practicing sustainable, environmentally-friendly operations. The MCPA awards are given in four categories: environmental stewardship, pollution prevention, resource conservation, and innovative best practices. This year’s honorees, the second annual class, also include winners of a new award: the Mayor’s Overall Award, given to two 2015 recipients who exceeded the expectations set by their first recognition.
Over the next week and a half, CBT will be profiling each of this year’s six winners. Help us in congratulating the following folks:
-
Logboat Brewing — Environmental Stewardship
-
3M — Pollution Prevention
-

-

-
Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture — Mayor’s Overall Award (2015 winner for Environment Stewardship)
