The CBT team is gearing up for our second year of the Top of the Town awards — recognizing the best in B2B services that Columbia has to offer.

Top of the Town is a great way to get client involvement and recognition for your business and your employees. Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to make the most of this year’s Top of the Town.
Step 1: Save the Date
Ain’t no party like a CBT party. First, save the date for our Top of the Town bash on June 29 at Logboat Brewing Co. This event is a blast, and we’ll be rocking into the evening with the CoMo business community.
Step 2: Rally the troops for nominations
We’ll open up nominations for Top of the Town on April 4 at comomag.com. It’s an easy, quick form to fill out. We’ll ask you to write in your top choice in several categories.
Want to get your business nominated? Rally the troops! Share the link on your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and newsletters. Encourage your clients and staff to nominate your business for the corresponding categories. The nomination field will be open for 10 days, and we’ll close it on April 14.
We’ll even provide you with built-in posts to fill your social media for the next few weeks. We’ll provide a fun image, free for download, to go with your post. Remember — the more nominations you have, the more likely you are to make it to round two.
Step 3: Rock the Vote
We’ll launch voting from April 19 to 29 on our website. The top five businesses nominated in each category will move on to the voting round. We’ll promote voting online, on our newsletters, and on our social media platforms. We encourage you to do the same.
Encouraging participation with your followers and clients can be a fun way to engage with them and increase the impact of your social media accounts.
Step 4: Wait for the big news!
We’ll notify the winners and start planning for the big reveal. Winners will be announced in June, in advance of the July issue of CBT.
