Five Columbia companies appear on the Inc. 5000 list
Inc. magazine’s annual list of the 5000 fastest growing private companies is a who’s who of the startup world. Alumni include Oracle, Domino’s Pizza and Microsoft. This year’s top company, Ultra Mobile, grew by 100,849 percent — which would be a number to talk about, except that we’re too busy celebrating Columbia’s five entries on the list!
We’re toasting four repeat winners and one new entry. Here’s to building great companies right here in mid-Missouri!
AdKarma: Columbia’s highest-ranking Inc. 5000 winner, despite slipping from their astoundingly high position (38) in the 2014 list. This year, they’re 217th, with 2,017 percent growth and $45.1 million in revenue.
JobFinders Employment Services: The HR and employment firm found themselves on the list for the third year in a row. Their 304 percent growth and $6.6 million in revenue put them at 1368th in this year’s rankings.
Accurate Rx Pharmacy: The first time winner made the top half of the list, at 2036th. The team at Accurate Rx grew their business by 194 percent and generated $10.7 in revenue.
True Media: A veteran of the Inc. 5000 list, True Media made the cut for a remarkable sixth year in a row, at 2770th. The marketing media company posted 134 percent growth and $73.4 million in revenue.
Division-D: Columbia’s only repeat winner to move up in the list, Division-D jumped from 4242nd to 3665th. The company grew by 85 percent and made $21.4 million in revenue.
