Two community treasure chests that are hidden in plain sight: The State Historical Society of Missouri’s Center for Missouri Studies at 605 Elm Street and the Columbia Public Library at 100 West Broadway. MKT Trail gets all the love but Hinkson creek trail with its curves, bridges and views is wonderful as well. Follow it to a sunrise on the bluffs at Capen Park — easily an underrated experience.
