Home Sweet CoMo: A Housewarming Concert. 7 p.m., Serendipity Salon and Gallery by Eizabeth Jordheim, 1020 E Walnut St, Ste 100. FREE event; donations appreciated. 

MmmOther: a song circle for the many flavors of Mama Love + Loss + Power. 7:30-10 p.m., Yoga Sol, 210 St. James St. Tickets $22-$44.

Leah Lang-Gluscic Clinic. Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mid-Mo Riding Center, 7901 Tom Bass Rd. Entry $350 per horse/rider combination. Click link for full details. 

Mom & Me Little Leapers. 9-11 a.m., Sky Zone, 1201 American Parkway. Children ages 5 and under. Flowers for Mom. $14.55 for kids, $4.99 for adults.

Dirt Dames May MTB Celebration. 9 a.m.-noon, Rock Bridge Memorial State Park. Bring a food item to share for the potluck and post-ride munching. Helmets are required. 

Girl Scouts Play It Safe. Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Boone County Sheriff’s Office, 2121 E County Drive. Two-day event for girls in grades K-5. $8 per girl, includes snacks and a fun patch. 

Saturday Morning Science. 10-11 a.m., Ragtag Cinema, 10 Hill St. FREE. Featuring Dr. Linda Godwin: scientist, retired NASA astronaut, and MU professor emeritus of astronomy. 

Family Event: Jumping Origami. 10 a.m.-noon, Boone County History & Culture Center, 3801 Ponderosa St. FREE. 

ALM Scholarship Fish Fry 2023. 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Hickman High School, Monroe Pavilion next to football field, 1104 N Providence Rd. 

Beauty and the Beast Jr. Presented by TRYPS Children’s Theater. 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday at Launer Auditorium, 901 Rogers St. Ticket’s $8-$15. 

Family Event: Jumping Origami. 10 a.m. to noon, Boone County History & Culture Center, 3801 Ponderosa Dr. Discover the Japanese art of paper folding. FREE.

Mother’s Day Family Fun Ride. 2-4 p.m., Stephens Lake Park. Check-in begins at 1:30 p.m. at Gordon Shelter. $5, includes meal and beverages after the ride.

SATURDAY, MAY 20 

Princess Tea for St. Jude. 10 a.m.-noon, the Country Club of Missouri, 1300 Woodrail Ave. Benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

Light Up Missouri Balloon Glow. 6:30-9 p.m. Located at the Cartwright Business & Technology Center next to Columbia Regional Airport. Children’s area, pony rides, inflatable obstacle course, tether rides, balloon glow, and drone show. Admission/parking is a suggested donation of canned goods. Tickets for children’s attractions and VIP parking. 

FRIDAY, MAY 26 

Storytellers Concert: Steve Ewing. 6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. music. Boone County History & Culture Center, 3801 Ponderosa Dr. Tickets $15.
