Monarch Title Company names new president

Christy Lyon has been promoted to the position of company president at Monarch Title Company, Inc., a title insurance provider with offices in Columbia, Jefferson City, Boonville, Marceline, and Centralia.

CEO Chuck Bowman says Christy has been a key part of Monarch Title Company’s success. Christy joined the company in April 2019 as branch manager in the Jefferson City office, where she was successful in making that branch the highest revenue-generating office in the companty’s fleet of offices. Christy has 25 years of experience in the title insurance business as senior escrow closer and manager with several companies.

Monarch Title Company, Inc. started in 2001 and serves all of Missouri for refinance and purchase closings, providing escrow services and title insurance. The company employs 20 people in the mid-Missouri area with a motto “Service with Distinction.”

Monarch is a strong advocate for the community, with employees serving on numerous boards and assisting in fundraising and donating to non-profits to support the mission of helping those in need.
