Press Release: Business Times Company president becomes full partner
Erica Pefferman, president of The Business Times Company, has joined owners Al Germond and Dave Baugher as a partner in the company.
“Erica has brought new strength and vitality to The Business Times Company with a forward-thinking gallery of skill sets that will broaden the company’s product range and will move the company into new arenas of endeavor,” Germond said.
As president, Pefferman has focused on enhancing customer service, creating excellent editorial content and building a company culture that attracts top talent.
“Erica is a leader who has made a commitment to building a strong team,” Baugher said. “The environment she has cultivated at the Business Times Company is exceptional and will enable the company to innovate and grow.”
Pefferman, a Joplin, Missouri native, joined the company in 2013. She serves on the Job Point Board of Directors, American Red Cross Board of Advisors, Small Business and Technology Development Center Board of Advisors and is chairwoman-elect of Women’s Network, a division of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
“I’ve been fortunate, as President, that Dave and Al have already enabled me to run the company as if it were my own,” Pefferman said. “Now that will be a reality, and I’m thrilled to continue moving the company forward with the amazing team we have in place.”
The Business Times Company is parent company to Columbia Home, Columbia Business Times, Jefferson CITY Magazine and Business Times Interactive.
