Movers

Sunday Nickerson

Marathon Building Environments hired Nickerson as commercial flooring project manager. Nickerson’s role is to assist commercial customers in meeting all of their flooring needs.

Mike Skubic

Skubic joined Commerce Bank as a real estate loan officer. His responsibilities include developing and managing customer relationships related to residential real estate products and services. He brings 12 years of banking and lending experience to Commerce.

Joan DeBoe

DeBoe joined the Missouri Association of REALTORS as director of finance. DeBoe comes to the association after spending nearly 15 years in higher education financial management and accounting, having worked as director of business services/assistant controller for Columbia College in Columbia, bursar for Lincoln University in Jefferson City and most recently as controller for Westminster College in Fulton.

Laura Tyson & Dan Hood

Laura Tyson joined the Woodruff Sweitzer team as public relations account coordinator. Previously, Tyson was at Black Twig Communications where she was an account coordinator, supporting multiple clients in their public relations and social media tactics. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Tyson earned her Bachelor of Arts in communications.
Dan Hood has joined the team as production artist. Hood brings more than 10 years of experience in creative, digital and print design work.
As a graphic designer with Visionworks Marketing & Communications, Hood conceptualized and designed print and multimedia projects and produced all audio production. In that position, he was a Silver Award recipient at the Summit Creative Awards and earned a Gold

Award at the AAF Mid-Missouri ADDY Awards.

Allen Schelp

Columbia College recently hired Schelp as controller within the college’s accounting department. He will be responsible for the college’s accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, accounts payable and disbursements and policy compliance.

Veronica Gielazauskas

Gielazauskas has been named director of marketing intelligence for Columbia College where she will oversee the marketing intelligence team in harnessing internal and external marketing research to guide business growth and marketing decisions.

Shakers

Rebecca Buechter

Buechter joined Landmark Bank as the assistant branch manager at the Route B Banking Center. Her primary role will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the Teller Line, including staff development, and act as the primary customer service representative, responsible for all new account openings.

Jennifer Williamson

Callaway Bank promoted Williamson to assistant vice president. She previously served as branch sales manager of the West Broadway facility where she was responsible for overseeing the organizational and sales functions of the branch. Williamson is a graduate of Central Missouri State University, earning bachelor’s degrees both in management and marketing.

Neal Wilkinson

The board of directors of Callaway Bank recently promoted Wilkinson to assistant vice president. He has been with the bank as a real estate lender since 2007. “Neal’s extensive experience with residential real estate, construction and consumer loans has proven beneficial to serving our customers well,” says Gary Meyerpeter, president of Boone County markets.

Kathy Farris

The Callaway Bank promoted Farris to assistant vice president. Farris has been with The Callaway Bank since 2007 as a real estate lender. “Kathy’s 37 years of experience in the banking industry and dedication to providing exemplary service to our customers is outstanding,” says Gary Meyerpeter, president of Boone County markets.
