Ag entrepreneurs graduate

Food and farm entrepreneurs from mid-Missouri recently graduated from The Entrepreneurship Project, a training program for aspiring farmers in Missouri. This is the second class of participants to complete the program, which gives beginning farmers and ranchers the key skills to identify a business opportunity, find funding and create a venture plan. In addition to classroom learning, participants toured farms, creameries, wineries and restaurants to learn about new trends in agriculture and food. Pictured are, from left, project directors Peter Hofherr and Randall Westgren, Laura and Dan Pugh, Liz Graznak, Richard Knapp, Leslie Touzeau, Dan Soetaert, Liberty Hunter, Charles Rosenthal and project coordinator Jill Lucht.
