MU campus guides go mobile
MU is now offering two new wireless ways to stay connected to what’s going on around campus for students, employees and visitors.
GoMizzou provides access through iPhones and iPods, and Mobile Mizzou is compatible with Web browsers on most mobile devices.
To get Mobile Mizzou, visit m.missouri.edu on your mobile browser, or click the link at the top of missouri.edu. It is designed for any mobile device and is intended to help campus visitors.
The app provides news from the MU News Bureau, Mizzou Wire, Mizzou Weekly and Mizzou Athletics and contains a calendar with dates from the MU calendar of events, the MU academic calendar and the Mizzou Athletics calendar.
For getting around campus, it contains a Google-based map; a location search function; and a listing of all major buildings, parking structures and facilities on campus — arranged alphabetically and by category.
GoMizzou is available for free at the Apple Store, which you can visit online at itunes.apple.com/app/gomizzou/id386691187. This app is designed mainly for MU students, faculty and staff and can be accessed with an iPhone or iPod Touch.
It provides news from KBIA, KCOU, the Missourian and the Maneater and contains a calendar with dates from the MU calendar of events and the Student Life calendar.
For getting around campus, it contains a map, location search function and shows where you are on the map. It also has a people finder, dining hall menus and a comment-submission tool.
