Construction Update: High School bid winners

The Columbia Public Schools Board approved bids on Aug. 2 for the $75 million construction of a new high school on St. Charles Road in northeast Columbia.  The board followed the recommendations of JE Dunn Construction, the project manager, to bring the project within its budget by planting grass seed rather than sod and eliminating proposed tennis courts, a softball field, culinary arts equipment, theatrical rigging and visitor-side bleachers. The winning bids* were:
