Columbia Allergy and Asthma Specialists, a company started two years ago by Marcy Markes and Dr. Cynthia Hayes, has changed its name to Cynergy Health and moved to a larger space near the intersection of Forum and Nifong boulevards.

“It was my hope that, instead of sending patients elsewhere for different things, we wanted it all localized,” Markes said.

Cynergy Health opened its new office on Club Village Drive in May. Columbia Allergy and Asthma Specialists was located at 3103 West Broadway.

Markes is a family nurse practitioner, and Hayes is a family practice doctor. The Cynergy Health staff also includes a nurse, a licensed practical nurse, a registered dietician and a provider who specializes in allergy immunology.

Allergy testing and asthma evaluations are among the services offered by Cynergy. Markes said they plan to add more specialists in the future. Cynergy Health serves more than 400 patients.
