    FAQ

    Do you accept pitches?

    We do. However, most of our freelance assignments will be given to you by an editor, as topics are chosen by our internal team of editors and publishers. We do our best to give freelancers assignments that align with their interests and skills.

    What do you pay?

    Pay is commensurate with experience, skill level needed for the specific story, and amount of work needed. Freelancer and editor will agree on a flat fee before the story is accepted.

    What kinds of articles are you looking for?

    Engaging, accurate, and unique articles. We expect our freelancers to be professional, prompt and communicative. The editor will spell out the type of article they’re wanting with each individual assignment. If you’re looking to pitch an idea, take some time reading through the websites of each of our publications to determine what kind of content we’re looking for.

    How much time do I have to write an article?

    Typically, if you are writing for one of our publications, you might have about a month to work on a project. If you are writing for COMO Marketing, deadlines will vary.
