I plan to study at MACC for two years, and then I’ll study photography at Mizzou.

Photographer for National Geographic.

Favorite class in high school:

Photography II.

Favorite club or extracurricular in high school:

An EEE internship with Darkroom Studio to record high school musicians!

Proudest accomplishment in high school:

Getting accepted into the Quintessence Art show at Columbia Art League. It was a professionally judged show, and I won emerging artist, which is best among the high school artists in the show.

Best advice you’ve ever received:

“I know what I know.” This advice helps me not stress out about tests.

Biggest lesson learned in high school:

Life is full of ups and downs, and you control how the ride looks.

Future goals:

Do travel photography through helping with the Peace Corps.

Favorite teacher:

Matt Leuchtmann is a good man who helped me navigate the treacherous waters of high school.

Person I admire and why:

John Huba is a really successful travel photographer, and I hope that  I’ll be able to thrive in the field one day.

What you do for fun:

I love trying new foods, hiking, and taking pictures.
