Outstanding Office

When Wendy Knorr met with John Ott over breakfast in August 2007, she never expected their conversation would lead to her finding her dream office in one of his historic downtown buildings. Knorr fell in love with the office above Kayotea at 912 E. Broadway, particularly the huge slanted studio window. Three weeks later, she moved in and the space became the home of Knorr Marketing Communications.

Knorr made the decision to go modern and eclectic when it came to the overall interior design of the office space, choosing metal and glass for furniture and a color palette of black and silver. “I loved the openness, the light that comes in and the character it provides in downtown Columbia,” Knorr said. “I didn’t want just another square office.”
