New Business Update: Mark’s Mobile Glass opens store at new location
Mark’s Mobile Glass has opened a new location on Conley Road and closed its two Columbia locations on the Business Loop and Nebraska Avenue. The company, now in its 15th year, closed the two Columbia stores and combined them at their new location, 902 Conley Road.
Even though, the economic downturn has had an effect on the company, Mark’s Mobile Glass spokesman Aaron Wood said the company’s “dedication, service and quality” are factors in their continued growth. “Put those things together, and it puts you above the rest,” Wood said. “We feel the economy slowing down like the rest, but we’re one of the lucky ones so far.”
Mark’s Mobile Glass works with vehicle, commercial and residential glass. Being mobile also helps the company set itself apart from its competitors, Wood said.
“We can go to your job site or residence and fix the windshield right there,” he said. “We can set it up and come to your place of work and fix that rascal.”
Mark’s Mobile Glass started in Jefferson City and has expanded into Eldon, Osage Beach, Sedalia and Columbia.
